Music From The Past Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Music From The Past

The Elvis Jordinaires:

You made us happy
Gospel songs filled the air.
You distributed the music
To a world of despair.

How can we thank you
For heeding our prayers
You came to our rescue
Oh kind Jordinaires.

If not for the rhythm
Of your musical flair
Life may have resembled
A kind of nightmare.

But you toured the world
Country music ~ we shared
Days were silent without you
Dear Jordinaires.
