Mumbo Jumbo Poem by Ragy Sandid

Mumbo Jumbo

Do you remember your old coat?
That you threw away one day
Only to find it years later after you thought
You'd never smile to see it anyway.

Remember an old friend you met
By accident while on were on your way to a conference
That's the place where you set
A smile if meeting anyone you know made sense.

So, what's new? Just a little smile
Would solve our problems anyhow
Perhaps it would improve on our style
And tell us: the time to feel good is now.

We feel like other people when we smile
Who were we in the first place?
What made us leave ourselves all this while?
And put an unnecessary nasty face.

So let’s smile and consider a scientific fact
When you smile your muscles relax
The ones of the face, the heart and the back
Not only you but everyone else who comes in contact
