So many years have passed,
I have even stopped asking why,
Why you was taken without a proper chance of saying goodbye.

I wish you were here mum,
I miss you so much,
No one even knows what I would give just for another cwtch

I think of the future,
And all the people you have missed by your side,
Even thoese that was born,
Even thoses that have died.

Nanny Ruby they say,
where have you gone,
Thats always going to be the hardest and sadest one.

look in the air,
As you fly so high,
Wave to your nan boys now say goodbye,
For the day will come when they ask why?

why they never had the chance to say hello
why they never had the chance to say goodbye.

For all those people that still have there mum,
Please hold her tight,
And never say you hate her even when you fight,
For the day that she goes,
You will be the one that has lost the fight.
