Mud Poem by David Harris

Mud

Rating: 5.0

The rains had come and gone.
The sunshine did appear.
I went for a walk,
but there was mud everywhere,
with every step I that I took,
I sank in some boggy mess.
My shoes that were nicely polished
now look a right old mess.
The next time the sun shines
after some summer shower,
I am going to stay indoors,
and I won’t get dirty there.
