A strong, tall, jolly man
Who lived close to me
A storm came and it
He seemed he had to flee
Has anybody lately seen the man?
That was a friend to me?
If anybody sees him, tell him
There prays being sent on high for thee
To be strong again
And have clear eyes to see
May God be with you
My ole buddy, pal Mr. Lee
