Moving On Poem by Ray Hansell

Moving On

Sometimes I sit and wonder
Just where she might be
I wonder to myself
Does she ever think of me?

My thoughts run her way
I can still picture her face
In my heart I feel
Her love has left a trace

I sometimes wonder if her and I
Had been able to hold on
But that's when I realize
Reasons for her staying were all gone

It's hard sometimes to accept
That the one you loved is gone
That she had her own reasons
For wanting to move on
