Well here we are
53 years of age
And fifteen moves later
In a lovely house
In a lovely village

Well here we are
Much water under the bridge
Much ministry given
Much experience gained
Too old for schools

Well here we are
Where we began
In parish ministry
With real people
In real congregations

The sun is shining on us
It is July and mid summer
The sun is shining
Long may it last!
Warm sunshine to accompany our mature days

Well here we are,
I a weak observer
Margarita and the children
Doing the hard work
Moving books and boxes
