Mourning A Lost One Poem by Geri Ferris

Mourning A Lost One

Rating: 3.0

It is so hurtful when you have a lost one,
one who died fighting for our country.
But now theres nothing left to do but pray,
and think about them everyday.
But now theres nothing left to do but mourn,
visit them, put flowers by their side.
They still respect you,
for who you are,
and the thought of the flowers.
But they can't tell you how they really feel,
but keep them in your heart, your soul,
for days to come.
And when its your turn,
God will be good to you,
because you have a good heart.
Always thinking of your lost one.
