Motionless Poem by jude tamimi

Motionless

My grandma means so much to me,
She's made so many sacrifices,
A greater love there could never be,
People die,
Souls are lost,
Tears dry,
Love fades,
Blood stops dripping,
The sun emerges,
Flowers turn to dust,
People turn to stone,
The sun adjusts,
And life stands still,
And you are still close by me,
You're like a mother to me,
You're the mother that I never had,
You're the mother that I always wanted,
I hope the best for you,
And I love you.
