Mothra Rules Poem by Kevin Patrick

Mothra Rules

The forewarning Sirens stammer under false nerve
As they howl at the rapture of her imminent approach
Descending from the west with a titans bulking curve
That Pierce through the skyline with cataclysmic force
She Sends gales of wind into supersonic thunder
Like a wake from a biblical primeval harbinger
Soaring wings flutter with towering stature
Majestically spellbinding the masses to her wonder

Mothra Rules

The fisherman gape pointing to the growing tempest
Igniting sudden waves of hysterical howls
The streets become clogged with a petrifying scuttle
As Taxi drivers flee on foot with common rabble
The queen of moths strikes with merciful accord
Enveloping the sky in bands of orange and gold
In which no mortal eye can fathom at the scope
That folds the blue horizon into a red kaleidoscope
Mothra Rules

She flutters her wings some five miles wide
Beneath her on the city of skyscraper dioramas
No mortal adversary can defeat her maternal drive
Nor even dinosaurs that shoot out burst of magma
Little divas sing her praise in bounty to her glory
Protector of the ancient lands of infant island story
And honoured as the monarch of Infinite pulchritude
She is the wrath of every consequence exhumed

A neat write, it was like a block buster movie, only more creative.
