Mother's Appreciation Poem by Jordane Parkes

Mother's Appreciation

Mothers, they always seem to bother
sometimes you wish they would call another
the person who gave us our birth
and valued our worth
the people that always cared
about our welfare
Mothers, the people we usually take for granted
we don't value the legacy they have planted
Every day we go to bed at night
not knowing what they have to sacrifice
Yet they're always there
to help us prepare
for the challenges that may appear in life
at every turn they makes things right
Mothers, the people who we treasure
Mothers, the people that whole a place
in our hearts forever
