Mother Earth Is Weeping Poem by Amanda Häger

Mother Earth Is Weeping

Rating: 4.5

Mother Earth is weeping bitter tears
Her family is soon dying
Evil forces slowly tears
her cousins who are also crying

The trees whisper desperately
'We have no lungs to fill'
The wind is howling subtly
The warmth choking, ready to kill

For each day the sun shines brighter
The air is relentlessly stifling
Nature remains a true fighter
Its core is angerily boiling

If us humans don't take action
To help nature's beauty reappear
Horrifying will be the reaction
of our Earth starting to disappear
