Mother Earth Poem by Sybil Staples

Mother Earth

From you I birthed.
From you I exist.
I am you and you are we.
All that flows through this body
is your earth blood.
You are mother/siblings of the One.
Our wave flows along the same.
Grown throughout the ages
from sleep to full awakened.
Now here I am, knowing you sit with me,
in me, through me; and only to be in love.
Holy One of which I am. I live fully
aware of such profound respect that abides
in the nonresistance and acceptance
of love, joy, and peace.
Allowing the heart to be fully opened
even when it pains to do so;
and in enlightenment learn that it
never actually hurts to be healed.
