Mother At 16 Poem by soso khan

Mother At 16

My life was great
I had everything
I had a brand new car
And a family that adored me.

My chasity was everything to me
And then one day you came...
You came one day and took my childhood away
Along with my laugh you took my faith.

But did you ever think twice
That because of what you did to me
I am now a mother to be
I will feel the pain every time I look into my childs eyes.

My only hope is that my child
Will grow up knowing right from wrong
Knowing that her father wasn't a man but
A criminal who did nothing but wrong.

No matter what i will put you away
My daughter will have everything i ever did
But this time...
No one will take it away.
