_ Mother _ Poem by Aparna Chatterjee

_ Mother _

If you are a
Mother, you tend to
Overlook your son' s
Faults and might even
Forget about his faults

But when you become a
Mother-in-law
You' ll prefer to remember
Your son-in-law' s faults
And might even remind
Others of his faults

After all, he' s not your son
He' s not related to you by
Birth or blood.
In fact, he' s related to you
By law ;)

This applies to many M-I-Ls though not all....there are some mothers in this world who treat others' children just the way they treat their own children.
