Mother Poem by Nishi Kumari

Mother

Rating: 5.0

She shelters with love in her womb for a continuous nine
Like a beautiful bliss to bloom so dear so divine
She carries the pain with a cheerful smile on her face
She is a mother, an incomparable grace!

She walks with glittering eyes hiding her tears behind her veil
Like a drowning ship somehow seeking to sail
She just knows to give away standing with open palm
She is a mother, so selfless so calm!

She with her huge heart full of forgiveness for every mistake
Like an ever supportive shadow whether we are asleep or awake
She is the morning sunshine which makes our day
She is a mother, melodious as the song the children pray!

She scolds with a shrill, for her we never grow old
Like a serene soothing scene so bestowing to behold
She sacrifices all her happiness and sustains the hardships
She is a mother, a living idol of worship!
