Mother Poem by SAS Marshall

Mother

Rating: 2.5

Searching the room for inspiration
There you stand
The finest form of mankind
With a tea towel in your hand
A lone parent you became
And since then many years have past
Four kids, one mum and a dog
Yet you never put me last
If super woman was real
I'm sure she'd be based on you
For the powers that you bare
are ever so pure and true
I know I've been a pain
By getting kicked out of school
Where other parents would vex
You remained oh so cool
I don't think I thank you enough
But right now I'd like to take the time
I'm lucky to have a mother and even more so that your mine.
