My morning was broken
And what a surprise
A lovely parade
Right before my eyes
On this sunny morning
Sweet girls in dresses
Lovely and flowing
With long curly tresses
Beautiful ladies from
Back in the day
Bands with instruments
Ready to play
Charming young angels
Halos in place
Wings wide and pretty
Smiles on each face
John Deere’s morning
Green and so bright
Enjoying the parade
Oh, what a sight
I hope you too can have
A morning like this
My morning has broken
Like a sweet gentle kiss!
Marilyn, this is quite beautiful, I loved every line. It made feel like I was sitting in the sun on a warm summer day. Top marks and thanks for sharing this with us my friend. Hugs David
