Morning Arising Poem by Shaun Soanes

Morning Arising

Rating: 4.8

Morning waking, the Stars descend as the day draws out
The morning is arriving so it's time to wake your heart
Put your dreams beneath the sleeping pillow
They will not depart; with you for eternity…

The day begins to bustle, excitement begins to build
New adventures are evolving, challenges happen by...
Those dreams are safe beneath you, let the day unfold
Fear maybe with you, new excitement, with it brings
Trust the fear within you, trust your loving ones…

Your subconscious knows the answers, the life we lead is told
Like the trees within the seasons, change begins too unfold
The majestic oak, the pearl beauty of the birch
Each knows the morning comes

Dance with the dew drops falling from the trees,
dance till the stars in the night sky are gone.
Your dance will enchant me, but that will not be wrong.
The morning has arisen my darling, now start the day… Have fun!

Subtly romantic piece of poetry, well articulated and elegantly penned from the heart with conviction. Lovely poem nicely brought forth in good rhyme scheme with conviction. Thanks for sharing Shaun.

A very well written and interesting piece. just one note. I'd have left the my out of the last line. In my view it would improve the rhythm of that line. Otherwise you rhythm is excellent. Tom Billsborough
