MORNING APPEARS
Ruma Chaudhuri

At the invitation of Unknown
While crossing the present to the future time zone
Heart searches the shadow of it's own

Breaking the shakle of numbness
Breaking the fears of death
Life has crossed the threshold.

Being the messenger of God
Holding the hand of light
MORNING APPEARS
The world is smiling at the sunlight.

'Heart searches the shadow of it's own' - what a wonderful expression! Loved it. The last stanza is very refreshing, inspiring and inside illuminating. May your new year be filled with smiles of happiness, Ruma, like the smile of the sunlight you have written about.
