Heart of gold, heart of fire..whatever holds my desire.
A heart like ice, would it not suffice?
Would it radiate like the sun in the sky?
Or flow like the waves of a sea...
Is a heart like poison?
That infects the blood?
Destroys the mind?
Shatters the soul?
As delicate as lace and as free as the wind,
Seeming to stop when betrayed
Race when with it's other half.
Making it more than all else that describes it....
Making it more than the world.
