Moonlight Embrace Poem by Mihaela Pirjol

Moonlight Embrace

Rating: 5.0

Your languid, stellar eyes
Sparkling with desire...
The poetic whispers of your tongue—
Kindling my heart on fire!

How Love has made me love you most:
Almost close to madness! ...
And how suddenly, your eyes have lost
Their sacred brightness!

But in my memory,
We always stand embraced:
Defying this dull reality—
In love, with moonlight-coloured faces!

Beautiful use of contrasts. There's sadness but still the sparkle of memory. Genuine poetry. Loved it. Tom Billsborough

The memory of love haunts. Excellent expression- But in memory, we always stand embraced. A heart-touching poem Mihaela.
