Moonlight Poem by Joy Davis

Moonlight

Rating: 3.0

Shining upon my face
lighting up my world
exposing my heart
and every hope and desire
within me.

Moonlight
reflecting in my tears
every sadness known
to me, glistening
for all to see.

Moonlight
erupting in the starry sky
opening a new dream
a new world
with dreams and hopes
yet to be discovered
... and locked up.

Moonlight
straight and narrow
beaming into my soul
broken and torn
healing every hurt
and abandoned love.

Moonlight.
My sanctuary.
My love.
Moonlight.
