Monument Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Monument

Three legged horse
In the entrance
Exposed to the glances
Of all
Challenging the
Thoughts of so many.

Intelligent horse
You have been attached
And your liberty be
At stake:
There
Not admiration
Counts.

Simultaneously
You be quiet
And small
From the zooming lenses
From distances
Intelligent three-legged horse
At the entry of such
A proud city.
