Months Of Long Duration Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

All those phantom months
months of long days passing
day after hard working day

during all that time
day after weary day
day after endless day

during all that time
no word from you
no support from you

days you would spend
ten twelve hour days
playing computer games

day after day after day
level after level after level
in each favourite game

this is your chosen world
your world where you compete
your world you do not share

in all that playing time
in all those endless days
no time could you spare

not even thirty minutes
not even once not once
to support a true friend
