Monster Poem by Danie Burd

Monster

haunting me,
scary as clowns.
the world doesn't welcome you.
they don't understand you and never will.
cold skin, purple eyes, fangs, but still beautiful.
you close your arms around me and i feel safe...for a second
there is hunger in your violet eyes.
i shall not move for it will be over quick.
the lush tearing of skin...the only thing to be heard.
my blood drips from my neck to your open mouth.
sucking away at my life,
seeing memories that weren't meant to be replayed.
just as darkness is about to invade....
the monster i know and love stops and kisses my mouth,
five words escape from me,
'death is only the begining'
theres nothing left as i stare at the light,
heavens gates open up for me.
innocence cast a shadow.
my love and life has taken my life.
and i shall forgive and never forget.
