Monsoon Jewels © Poem by Roann Mendriq

Monsoon Jewels ©

White velvet sachet clouds in skies
drop Pearls upon the Jade green trees
that glitter glint with Diamond eyes
reflecting in the Crystal breeze.

Glistening streams edged with Sapphire
shimmer in the drizzle mist;
Lit with Emerald green fire,
with ripples of pure Amethyst.

Gleaming Topaz lemon wildflowers,
vie with berries Ruby red;
thrive in the abundant showers,
Opals on a riverbed.

Monsoon jewels charm, enthrall,
Bedeck yourself! It's free for all!
