Monet Poem by Lexi Rose

Monet

I should like to
travel, by and by
over the Japanese Footbridge;
to cross the mountains
of life's illusions.
No more shallow dreaming.
No more drunkenness.

'The Japanese Footbridge' Claude Monet,1899
