Mommy Look What I Can Do! Poem by Kait Bebelheimer

Mommy Look What I Can Do!

Mommy look what I can do!
I just made do-do
then I played hide-n-seek
I saw you take a peek
from the front door
while I was under the porch
Mommy look what I can do!
I made you a card that said, 'I love you'
you smile and hang it on the fridge and said 'I love you too'
Mommy look what I can do
I just fed our doggy
but accediately killed our froggy
I bured it though
so don't get your hair in the dough
Mommy look what I can do!
I am a big child now!
I did my science project and fed our cow
then I took care of our garden
and said my pardon
to the teacher or was it the preacher
Mommy look what I can do!
I am behind the driving wheel.
Don't be worried, I understand how you feel
of me going out to the parties with my friends
we will not crash into the road side bends
Mommy look what I can do!
My very own job
I peel the corn cobs
for this farmer
not far from you
Mommy look what I can do!
I am in love!
I can see the doves
Soon white will enter our worlds
Just the thought makes me twirl
Mommy look what I can do!
The rings keep us together.
When will we separate? Never!
We will have a family forever!
Mommy look what I can do!
I know you can't see me now.
But I hope Jesus treats you well.
I will miss you..........
