Mommy Come Back Poem by La'Kira Jackson

Mommy Come Back

Mommy you was the star in my skies,
The pupil in my eyes,
Mommy I want you back,
So hard I've tried.
Do you remember the good days we had together,
The times we use to picnic under nice warm weather.
Do you understand, I need you,
I can't picture my life any further without you.
Before you died, you told me not to follow in your footsteps,
But afterwards my soul surely slept.
I hope Gdo gives you one last chance,
And I hope dearly that you will hold my hand.
God please, God please, put my life on track,
All I really want is for my mommy to come back.
