I forgive you for hurting me, I forgive you for making me cry,
I forgive you for leaving my life curious; making me wonder why.

I forgive you for leaving me hurt and all alone,
I forgive you for pretending to be right, when we both know that you were wrong.

I forgive you for not being there to catch my tears when I cried,
I forgive you for not believing in me although I tried.

I forgive you for not understanding me; leaving me with devastation and stress,
I forgive you for not listening to me when I knew it meant the best.

I forgive you for not opening your eyes when it was meant for you to see,
But I honestly thank you for helping me find me.
