Moments Poem by Nina gáspari

Moments

When I made all those silly wishes upon the stars
When I told you never to change, always preserve who you are
When I had you close my heart
When I cried almost every day of my life
When a phone call saved my night
When a decision changed my fate
When I wanted to take back the words I once said
Reading the sweet notes you write me
Looking through your silly photographs and smiling
Watching the sun rise, in a cold morning
Realizing the sun has set, as you tell me how you miss me
Listening to that song that reminds me of you
And that other one, that reminds me of good times too
Feeling your warm embrace, saving me
Believing to be the luckiest person, when I hear you calling me
Writing about the way you make me feel
Writing this to tell you
These moments are for real.
