Moments Poem by Robert Macdonald

Moments

Moments

You’ll lose it
A flash you once had
Feathery touch that vibrated
Over the entire being
Even to the emptiness
In the center shelter
A feeling full of so many
Different feelings

Of so many more

New Cosmic
Orgasmic Stuff
Exploding in your soul
To your nervous system
Sharp gasping electric
Ancient
Organic flames
Smooth grey stones
Small pebbles firing through
Bright rays of light
Speed of euphoria
That left a sharp pain
Tough leathery scars

Just a moment
And the moments before it
Leading
Creating
Single pricks
Building upon
Multiplying
Dimensions of eternal moments
Resting on eachother
Growing on eachother
Sobbing feeling floating
Squirming
Outward
Stretching
Aimlessly
Or with direct intent
Draining
Reach a hand
Sift through the fingers
Smooth soft by themselves
Spiraling spiraling
Your reflection
Your words
Your worlds
A vortex
Watch them circle
Cold dull circles
The granules of sand
Of our days
Feel them slip through
The crevasses
The fingertips
The holes in your
mind
