Mom Poem by Monino Martin

Mom

You’ve done a lot of sacrifices
For all of us because we had a hard life, and you can sadness in our faces
We didn’t have anything back then
Your feeling that our suffering its not going to end
But you’ve tried everything
For us to get by and have a bit good of living
I felt so bad about that, but me I’ve done a lot of things to make you cry
I didn’t really care about that, that tears are falling down from your eyes
Because I was getting mad at you
For stopping me for what I want to do
But I know that you’re just caring for me
You just want me in a good place where I’m really suppose to be
But I don’t do the things that you want me to do
That’s why I’ve been hurting you
I’m sorry about that
I wish that I could go back
And do exactly what you want me to do
But it’s too late now, I’ve hurt you
I’m so sorry, but I can feel the warmth of you’re love
The caring that your doing, that’s why I thank the lord from up above
That I have a mom like you
You’re trying everything to keep us happy when you’re supposed to
Now I’m going to try to keep you happy as I can
Because now I’m a man, I’m to try to be a good man
I promise I love you mom

Happy Mother's day to all of moms out there
