Misty Rain Poem by Ronald Chapman

Misty Rain

Your view is vanishing from my memories,
Like walking away in a misty rain,
On this day of tears,

How can I let this love go?
Let love, fly away,
Carried by storm clouds,

Your sunshine left,
Burning in my heart,
I can't forget your bright smile,

You were my blue sky,
Why do I continue to,
Look for you every day?

When I look up,
I see nothing but gray,
Black clouds hiding your bright smile,
Your beautiful dark eyes,

To remember you,
Sends me to a rainy place,
A place of misty tears and gray skies,

Praying for you to return to me someday.
