Mistake Poem by Anna Heminsley

Mistake

Looking up at the sky,
With a star shining so bright,
Raindrops fall onto your face,
As you walk through the night.

It becomes darker and darker,
And you walk more and more,
You start walking faster,
And you're wondering what for.

You feel that it's time to stop,
But you just want to go on,
You really want to,
Even though your energy is nearly gone.

You stop for a second,
To just take a break,
And all of a sudden,
You feel it was a mistake.

hmm I love how easy it is to picture. You keep moving, it's part of the adventure sometimes it leads us to unknown territory other times it leads us to a place so beautiful we could've never imagined. Keep walking. Thanks for sharing.
