Mist To Snow Poem by Thomas Gallegos

Mist To Snow

Mist filled sky.
Lines the canyon walls.
Wipers gliding.
Steady heart beat.
Vehicle leaning side to side.
Winding through the mountains canyons.
In and out up and around.
Vision fading.
Speed is climbing.
Steady and calm breathing.
Slow and methodical thinking.
Shifting easy.
Throttle constantly changing with out thought.
Mind at ease.
Fog swirling around the car.
Car spliting air.
Man and machine working as one.
Mist giving way to snow.
wisp as the wipers glide.
looking forward through space.
Snow flakes flying.
Car gives way to the icey roads.
Calm and smooth.
Shifting driving styles.
Slowly drifting.
We dance through the canyon.
big flakes of snow, falling in slow motion.
lifting the emergency brake and down shifting through turns.
Engine rumbling with the transmission in motion.
lights shining over new snow.
gliding with confidence.
Trust in my heart.
Mist to snow.
God to me.

Mist to Snow
