Miss Understand Poem by Kiy Anu

Miss Understand

Rating: 5.0

Waiting to die
Wanting to cry
Knowing that all of life was a lie
They criticized
So life was revised
Yet still I am only despised
They don't understand
They only demand
Drown me in words like I drown in quicksand
I'm sinking fast
I come in last
Like a ship out at sea without it's mast
Help me please
Before I freeze
Don't let me be blown away by the breeze
I'm lost and alone
Left on my own
Being torn apart by my emotional cyclone
My personal storm
Of words in a swarm
And at last it is time for me to perform
The final act
At last I've cracked
Get ready to see the final impact
Your far to late
These words of hate
Have pushed me to this absolute fate
See what you've created
Dance and be elated
As I do the thing I so long had debated
Listen as the bell chimes
Watch as the clock times
Worry not, the pain will only last for lifetimes
Look me in the eye
Come now don't be shy
You know it's true don't even try
You want to see
So look at me
Watch and wait with tremendous Glee
Watch little sheep
As I drown in the deep
Watch with a solumn face and weep
Tears of joy
My life you destroy
You played with me like I was your toy
You took the bait
At last checkmate
I'm gone, go find someone else to berate
Look the light
It's so bright
At last I see such a beautiful sight
But what's this?
A kiss?
Something here must be amiss
What? Why?
This is a lie
Wasn't it you who wanted me to die?
I don't know how
I can allow...
But the way those eyes stare at me now
Oh dear
I fear
The way those lips whisper in my ear
I must be dead
Dead in a watery bed
Beacause the whispery voice in my head
It does not say shoo
It does not say boo
The voice says I love you...
