Miss Independence Poem by jaclyn zweydorff

Miss Independence

Being an independent person she always home
The one place she'd rather be is Rome.

If you haven't noticed her body is an open canvas
Not know much around campus.

Her hair is short, brown, black, blue, blonde, and green
Some say she is very mean.

Get to know more you will no she is nice
would that be so much to sacrifice

Being the only girl of her family she is strong and bold spoken
The summer of 2008 her heart was broken.

The cross that remains on sixty-five and her back
All the pictures of him she'll pack

People step on her left and right
Because she is so out of sight.

She has moved three times in her life.
Walking around at night she carries a knife

She has a few friends to talk to
Thinking it would be nice to talk to some of you.

Scared of being judged by her peers
For they have done so for many years.
