Mirrors. Poem by Jessica Wetzel

Mirrors.

Truth, peace, heal.
I lie, I fight, I bruise.

Silence, breathe, smile.
I scream, I bleed, I cry.

Love, delight, grow.
I hate, I regret, I deplete.

Mend, give, live.
I break, I borrow, I die.

You will only see what I allow you to see, but if you truly know me, then you see all of me.

Yet, you still be a stranger on the outside trying to look in.
