I've travelled miles this far
I've searched the distance for you
My heart can't stand your absence
My eyes can't stand you gone.

It's been a day,
Since you set out on a journey
But like a million years it seem
Since you are gone from me

I've tried to keep it tied
I tried to hold it down
But emotions come blazing, and
Soon will consume me

I'm lost on the road
The route you took to leave
I've travelled miles this far
Still, you're not in sight
