Mighty Poem by Leanne Brigoli

Mighty

Slow to anger, filled with unfailing love
Your faithfulness lavished to a thousand generations
The God of compassion and ocean mercy,
Forgives rebellion, sin, and inequity

You, whose deeds are righteous and perfect,
Who gives both to the just and the unjust
For those who truly loves you, you've given them victory from shame
Praise to you, Oh Yahweh is your name!

Glorious in holiness, awesome in splendor
You perform great wonders, a mighty redeemer
You are greater than all other gods,
You rescued your people from oppression of proud Egyptians

Glorious in power, greatness in majesty
You smashes the enemy and overthrow those who rise against
Unleash your blazing fury
How mighty, Yaweh Nissi!
