- - Midsummer Morn'. Poem by Nigel Fisher

- - Midsummer Morn'.

Rating: 2.8

The sunrise early, month of june,
so softly lies the mist upon the ground,
subdued the rays that light this early morn,
over pasture, vale and woodland stream, , , tranquility,
a place to talk, yet no word speak,
for here lost friends unite, , , in love.

This is beautifully expressed, 'The sunrise early, month of june, / so softly lies the mist upon the ground, / subdued the rays that light this early morn, / over pasture, vale and woodland stream, , , tranquility, / a place to talk, yet no word speak, / for here lost friends unite, , , in love...' A wonderful poem on morning in midsummer.
