Metamorphosis Poem by Suresh Kumar EK

Metamorphosis

The hair changes
Grows throughout
The beard is all around
The eyes burn twinkling
The nose suddenly develops
The five senses are also fuming
I am transforming totally into a bird
Feathers slowly cover my skin
The sharp nails on the feet
Bends forward and sharpens
The colour of the auricle
Turns intoburning red
The lips turn stonish black
I become a cruel hawk
Viewing the poor prays
Far beneath on the ground
Unknown possibilities of the sky
Spreading endlessly are missed
The metamorphosis is completed

You brought a hawk into metamorphosis. You have made it complete.
