Mental Warfare Poem by Poemahontas Poemadonna

Mental Warfare

Rating: 5.0

I'm winning at losing
But I'm losing at winning
I'm ready for the ending
But I'm stuck at the beginning

I hate to love
What I love to hate
So I kept this place
Just a vacant space

I lied for a living
Now I'm living a lie
When time to start giving
I was given time

I was lost in life
But I never lost my life
My choices had a price
Look what it cost my life

I asked and received
And received what I asked
So why am I incomplete
With all the things that I have

I've found what I lost
Then I lost what I've found
I never looked up
Until it all fell down

When I learned to love
That's when I learned from love
That every perfect gift
Comes from above

Somewhere lies the truth
But the truth is told with lies
This became the battle
Between me, myself, and I
