~ Mending A Broken Heart ~ Poem by Thad Wilk

~ Mending A Broken Heart ~

Rating: 3.0

I stitched and patched this broken heart
I did the best I could
But it will never be the same again
I just knew it never would
~~
She had the eyes of the bluest skies
The sun 'twas the colours in her hair
Her tender touch I miss so much
No others can compare
~~
Day and night I find, you are in my mind
I carn't erase these thoughts that dwell
Your love to me was so divine
This pain I feel's a living hell
~~
Mine eye's they bleed and cry inside
She's gone, alone I be in this tragedy
This unrelenting loneliness I hide
All that's left's her haunting memory
~~
I stitched and patched this broken heart
I did the best I could
But it will never be the same again
I just knew - it never would..
