Memory Of A Sin Poem by Michelle Dickson

Memory Of A Sin

Rating: 5.0

Broken Up
Deep Inside
I cried out these eyes.
My heartache,
My pain
All factors in this game.
To tell you the truth now
Would be a waste of time.
To tell you the truth now
I would consider it a crime.
Behind my blue eyes
I hide pain and grief,
But also a type of relief.
To have you now
Would be a bad choice of mine
Because now I have found
What was rightfully mine.
I think of you
Every now and then,
But now your Memory holds no Sin.

Poem inspired by
Kelly Clarkson's Song
'Behind These Hazel Eyes'
