Memory Of A Lover* Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Memory Of A Lover*

Rating: 5.0

Once I gave
my heart my love.
You left me
in a thousand broken pieces.
Now time has left us
far apart cobwebs cover all
those long for gotten pieces.

Once I gave
my heart my love.
Yet that was long ago.
the sun has set
since then, my love.
I watch, the shadows on the road.
Never since, could I ever love
any infrequent passing lover.
