Memories Recalled Poem by Ronald Strickland

Memories Recalled

The damp earth gives way beneath my feet,
the chilled breeze tingling my cheeks,
as i recall my childhood days,
my memory races back, to where there seemed
to be brighter days.

Sometimes teardrop's begin to fall, sometimes
it's like it's all i do. but then again
i giggle and smile the whole day though,

Maybe feeling half crazy but then i
feel my heart beat, then know I'm blessed.

It's the little things in life that reminds us
how wonderful life's memories. were so blessed,
and the love in our hearts lets us recall.
