Memories Of Dad Poem by Carolyn Marie Taylor

Memories Of Dad

I'll always remember the love you shared,
As I walked through my early life.
You took my hand each time I fell,
And brushed away the fears and strife.

A young Ohio country girl I was then,
Learned of truth right from the start.
From my Dad so missed and loved,
Who's still a jewel in my heart.

Understanding more than we could know,
Always there when we needed him.
Who daily sacrificed for his family,
This song in my heart, still my best friend.

I'm older now and as I think of you,
Loving memories remain through the years,
Remembering one of God's precious Angels,
Recalled so often through my tears.
